The following resources have helped make this website possible. I have either learned a lot from them or have used their tools extensively. Oh, and it's in alphabetical order, the best of orders.
- 32-Bit Cafe: A great source for inspiration for me, with a fantastic resources list of their own.
- MDN: An option for learning how to code that you may be less familiar with than W3Schools.
- petrapixel: Her layout generator forms the basis of this site, plus she's got many other tips and tricks on her website! Much credit to her.
- r/neocities: I spend a lot less time on Reddit than I used to (would make a good writeup...), but the platform is still next to none when it comes to finding small communities with answers to all of your questions, and the Neocities subreddit is no exception. Haven't made any posts or comments myself, I do well enough just searching what everyone else has said :)
- rachychel: A cute little website that happens to be where I found the gingham daisy background that I modified.
- W3Schools: I'm sure the majority of users of Neocities and similar hosts are familiar, but if you're not, W3Schools is a great resource for learning how to do just about any basic thing with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. Has resources for other languages too if you're into that sort of thing.
- Zonelets: The base of my writings system! Currently not modified heavily from its original form but this will probably slowly shift over time.
- three: Their Zonelets tagging system is what I'm using to tag my writings. Seems to be working flawlessly so far!
There's probably other helpful things I've used that I'm forgetting about! But hopefully this is a good start at least.
